Condolence: I have many fond memories of Tom from Vincennes. I was seriously just thinking of him a couple days ago and then I read this sad news. I will never forget a conversation he and I had on the VU campus many years ago. We laughed so much that day and whenever I saw him after that it was a good time. I lost touch with him when I moved from the area but have often thought of him through the years. My sincere sympathies to the family.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear about Tom. I am very grateful for all he did for the veterans in the Mooresville community and all that he and Betty did for members of the American Legion. He will be missed. I am honored to have known him.

Condolence: Harold and I are so sorry about Tom's passing. I know he and Betty (my sister) had one of those rare relationships as friends, soul mates and husband and wife. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and Tom's family. I am so glad that I was able to recently see Tom and talk to him. Also got a big hug. RIP Tom. I will really miss seeing you when I'm at the Mooresville American Legion Post.

Condolence: My Cousin, my “Sister”, my Friend…
I am so sorry. I know your time with Tom was short; we always want more, never wanting the good stuff to end. But bask in the fact that you were one of the lucky few who found your soulmate, your best friend, your everlasting love.
Tom was a man of many sides and many layers, each interesting, unique, and different. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a deeply spiritual, carrying his beliefs close to his heart, and exhibiting his beliefs quietly every day. He “did unto others” and never intentionally hurt anyone. He was devoted, honest, and trustworthy, loving, caring, compassionate. He loved everyone, and was loved by all.
I am honored to have known him, and been a part of your lives. Find peace in the fact that he is only gone in body, not in spirit, and will always be with you. Now, let’s get ready to celebrate a life well lived.
I love you both,
Judy

Condolence: Tom and I were classmates at LHS back in the '70s. He was a stand-up sort of guy with a bit of a serious side to him. He was just a good all-round guy who turned into a good man.
Rest in Peace, TOM.
Sincerely,
Gene Bathe
