Obituary for William B. Sheilds

William B. "Butch" Sheilds, 66, of North Port, Florida died on Friday, October 8, 2004. He was born on March 7, 1938 in Monrovia, Indiana. He graduated from Monrovia High School in 1956. He was in the U.S. Marines. He was a lifetime member of the Mooresville VFW Post #1111 and a member of Summit Cty Lodge 170 F & AM in Ft. Wayne, IN. Before reitring in 2001, he was Vice-President of Champion International Paper Dairy Pak Division in Cleveland, Ohio for 10 years.

He is survived by spouse: Terrie (Redeman) Sheilds of North Port, FL.; 4 Children: Dana Wilkowsky of Texas; Darla Alcorn of California; Gregg Sheilds of Monrovia, IN; Troy Shelds of Arizona; 10 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister: Barbara Stader of Monrovia, IN. He is preceded in death by previous spouse of 44 years: Patricia (Peck) Shields; 1 Granddaughter: Angela Harris.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Tuesday, October 12,2004 and 3:30-4:30pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2004. Funeral will be officiated by John Sichting and will begin at 4:30pm at Jones Family Mortuary on October 13, 2004. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN.
