Obituary for Walter F. Schellenberg

Walter F. Schellenberg, 91, of Indianapolis died January 26, 2005. He was born January 14, 1914 to the late Charles and Marie (Roesner) Schellenberg. He was a 1932 Graduate of Manuel High School. He married the late Dorathy (Glenn) Schellenberg July 3, 1937. He was a member of Garfield Park United Church of Christ. He was a member of Daughters of America #47 in Indianapolis, IN. He is a former Decatur TWP Volunteer Fireman. He was also a member of Hoosier Home Craftsmen Forum. He worked at Link Belt in Indianapolis as a Lathe Operator for 37 years before retiring in 1976.

He is survived by 1 Son: Walter "Fred" Schellenberg Jr. of Georgia; 2 Daughters: Norma Nusbaum of Indianapolis, IN; Mary Ann Humphry of Indianapolis, IN; 6 Grandchildren;15 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2-8pm Sunday, January 30, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary with a Daughters of America Service starting at 7pm. Funeral Services will be at 11am Monday, January 31, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary and will be officiated by Tom Blossom. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial Contributions can be made to American Diabetes Association.
