Obituary for Travis M. Pierce

Travis M. Pierce, 37, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2015 at Summerfield Healthcare, Cloverdale. He was born to David A. Pierce and Susie (Calvert) Judd on June 6, 1978 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1998. He is a United States Marine Corp. Veteran.

Travis was a Laborer for several companies. He enjoyed fishing and playing poker with his grandpa. He lived in Paragon for 5 years, Spencer for 3 years and Mooresville for most of his life.

Travis is survived by his mother, Susie Judd of Mooresville; a brother, Austin Judd of Mooresville; grandparents, Homer Calvert of Camby, Maxine Pierce of Gas City; Uncle, Noble (Melanie) Calvert; Aunt, Tammy Calvert; six cousins, Aaron Elmore, Eian Calvert, Devanie Calvert, Michelle Pierce, Braeden Calvert, and Diane Pierce. Travis is preceded in death by his father, David Pierce; a grandmother, Joyce Calvert; and a grandfather, Eugene Pierce.

Family and friends may gather from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Mark Wright will officiate a 6 p.m. celebration of life memorial service on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, the family is strongly urging family and friends to make memorial contributions in memory of Travis to Summerfield Healthcare, 34 South Main Street, Cloverdale, IN 46120.
