Obituary for Tolbert E Hyatt Sr.

Tolbert E. Hyatt Sr., 77 years of age passed away Friday, August 27, 2010. He was born September 1, 1932 in Carlisle, KY to the late Marion Francis and Olivia (Guy) Hyatt. Tolbert married Mary Ruth (Gibson) Hyatt of Mooresville, IN.

He lived in Mooresville, IN for 42 years and in Indianapolis, IN for 6 years. Tolbert loved bowling, fishing, and hunting. He was a Meat Cutter for several Grocery Stores for 50 years including Jacksons Market in Mooresville, IN for 10 years.

He is survived by his Wife, Mary Ruth (Gibson) Hyatt of Mooresville, IN; 4 Children: Barbara (Jack) Clark of Mooresville, IN, Linda (Russell) Wilson of Camby, IN, Phyllis (Steve) Lynch of Virginia, and Tolbert Hyatt Jr. of Martinsville, IN; 7 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: James, Gene, Norman, and Donald Hyatt; and 2 Sisters, Laura Mae Hyatt and Phyllis Campbell. He is also preceded in death by Parents; 1 Son, James Marion Hyatt; and First Wife, Mattie (Graham) Hyatt.

Calling hours for Tolbert will be from 4-8pm, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 and from 12noon-1pm, Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00pm, Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. Russell Wilson will officiate the service and Tolbert will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
