Obituary for Susan Kay Bishop

Susan Kay Bishop, 59, of Mooresville, IN, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2013. Susan was born to Carroll and June (Soots) Collins on January 20, 1954 in Indianapolis, IN. Susan married Ricky Bishop on June 11, 1977.

Susan was a Homemaker. She was a member of Congregation Jehovah Witnesses in Mooresville, IN. She enjoyed shopping, drawing and helping others. She has lived in Mooresville, IN for 36 years and her birthplace of Indianapolis, IN for 23 years.

Susan is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ricky Bishop of Mooresville, IN; mother, June (Soots) Collins of AL; six sisters, Carroll Lee, Sherry, Nancy, Deann, Janie and Jill; four brothers, David, Steve, Jeremy and Tim and several nieces and nephews. Susan is preceded in death by her father, Carroll Collins and two brothers, Jeff and John Collins.

Alan Gambill will officiate a 4 p.m. celebration of life memorial service on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Congregation Jehovah Witnesses, 200 East Main Street, Plainfield, IN 46168. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN.
