Obituary for Sonny Tucker

Sonny Tucker, 71, of Mooresville, died on July 26, 2010. He was born on September 12, 1938 in Dwarf, KY to the late Milton and Minnie (Shepherd) Tucker. He married Lura A. (Shelton) Tucker on November 8, 1957 and she survives. Before retiring in 2000, he was a Machinest for Dean MET PRO Corporation in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years. He has lived in Mooresville, IN for 8 years and Greenwood, IN for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife: Lura Tucker of Mooresville, IN; 2 children: Christy (Doug) Leeper of Mooresville,IN, Forrest Tucker of Greenwood,IN; 5 grandchildren: Doug, Catharine, Chad, Amanda and Marshal; 2 great grandchildren: Caden and Donovan; 4 Brothers: Clarence Tucker of KY, Jerry Tucker of Mooresville,IN, Bobby Tucker of FL and Johnny Tucker of Mooresville, IN.

Calling hours will be from 12-2pm, on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. George Watkins will officiate the 2pm funeral service. He will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville, IN.
