Obituary for Shirley A. Wickam

Shirley A. Wickam, 62, of Mooresville, IN, died on January 28, 2011. She was born on May 14, 1948 in Streator, IL to William and Caroline (Guyon) Sauer. She married Danny C. Wickam on July 29, 1967.

She was a Homemaker and former employee of Rockford Illinois Register-Star for 4 years. She was a member of Martinsville Baptist Tabernacle. She was a very giving person and loved art and paintings. She has lived in Mooresville, IN the last 3 years. She previously lived in Rockford, IL for 42 years and her birthplace of Streator, IL for 12 years.

She is survived by her Husband, Danny C. Wickam of Mooresville, IN; 4 Children, Jennifer (David) Bennett of SC, Melinda Wickam of Mooresville, IN, Jared Wickam of IL, Abigail (Robert) Bosler of WI; Mother, Caroline Sauer of Rockford, IL; 2 Brothers, Craig Sauer of NY & Mark Sauer of IL; 6 Sisters, Sharon Stroud, Diane Hecker & Carol Johnson of IL, Mary Curry of MO, Burnadette Clark of WI and Cindy Miller of IL.

She is preceded in death by her Father, William Sauer.

Calling will be from 1:30-3:00pm at Martinsville Baptist Tabernacle, 2189 Burton Lane, Martinsville, IN 46151. David Zempel will officiate the 3:00pm funeral Service on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Martinsville Baptist Tabernacle. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant @ Glenns Valley.
