Obituary for Sharon Ann Oberle Lichte (Burrows)

Sharon Ann (Burrows) Oberle Lichte, 72, of Brownsburg, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Roy O. and Mary (Poynts) Burrows on March 6, 1943 in Indianapolis. She graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1961. She married Roy J. Lichte on August 25, 2007.

Sharon was a Telecommunications Manager for American States Insurance in Indianapolis for 14 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church. She enjoyed going to ABC Bible Class, Senior Group, traveling, and golfing. She lived in Brownsburg for four years, Danville for six years and spent most of her life in the Indianapolis area.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Roy J. Lichte of Brownsburg; two children, Keith A. (Teresa) Oberle of Indianapolis, Lynn (Guy) Murray of Brownsburg; four stepchildren, Terri Gregory of Greenwood, Kevin D. (Cheri) Oberle of Kirklin, Lori (Aaron) Holeman of Greenwood, Linda (Don) Cook of Pittsboro; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rick R. ( Sue) Burrows of Indianapolis., Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Mary Burrows; previous spouse, Jerald D. Oberle; a brother, Michael Burrows; and a stepson, Timothy Oberle.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2015 and 9-10 a.m., Saturday, September 5 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. There will be a 10 a.m. celebration of life service on Saturday, September 5 in Jones Family Mortuary. She will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis.
