Obituary for Shannon H. Milburn

Shannon H. Milburn, 76, of Greenwood, IN died April 5, 2005. He was born July 10, 1928 to the late Henry and Emma Lee (Lucas) Milburn. He was married to the late Helen Eileen (Brown) Milburn and previously married to Mildred (Howell) Milburn. He was a 1948 Graduate of Decatur Central High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Advent Lutheran Church. He was a member of Evergreen Masonic Lodge #713, Scottish Rite Indianapolis Valley, Murat Shrine, Order of Amaranth, Inc. where he was Past Royal Patron, VFW Post #6978 where he was a past Chief of Staff- 7th District. He was a parking supervisor for the Scottish Rite from 1987-2002. Previously he was an office worker for Dohrn Transfer 28 years out of Teamsters #135

He is survived by 3 Daughters: Catherine Lee (David) Cline of Indianapolis, IN; Karen Sue Millburn of Indianapolis, IN; Kay Ann Milburn of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Sons: Michael Shannon (Gwynn) Milburn of Indianapolis, IN; Mark Alan (Dorthea) Milburn of Indianapolis, IN; 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren; 3 Sisters: Shirley Deem, Charlotte Scott, and Emalee Smith. He was preceded in death by 2 Children: Vickie and Kevin Milburn.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday, April 7, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary. Funeral will be at 10am Friday April 8, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary. He will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery.
