Obituary for Scott Alexander Morris

Scott Alexander Morris 39, Mooresville, IN, died at 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2005 in Community Hospital South, Indianapolis. He was born November 29, 1965 to James Morris and Marilyn (Laudel) Morris both of California. He married Catherine "Cat" (Webb) Morris, of Mooresville on July 2, 1988. Mr. Morris was a 1984 graduate of San Marin High. He received his Associate and A & P at Spartan School of Aeronautics. He was also a veteran of the Marine Corps. Mr. Morris was a member of CAP (Civil Air Patrol) Air Force, PADI- Scuba Diving Organizations. He was an accomplished Pilot, having recently completed his instrument rating and was well on his way to becoming an Instructor Pilot. For the past two years, he was a self-employed contractor for A & P Construction. Previously, he worked for United Airlines as a Mechanic in San Francisco, CA and Indianapolis, IN for five years.

Survivors include wife, Catherine "Cat" (Webb) Morris, Mooresville; two sons, Shaun Morris of Mooresville and A. J. Morris of Mooresville; parents, James and Marilyn Morris of CA; two brothers, Robert Morris of CA and Jim Morris of KS; two sisters, Kim Morris of CA; Carol Huff of CA; Cat's Parents, Arthur and Penelope Webb of OK; close family friend, Chelsey Holtzclaw of Mooresville; and many, many friends, too many to mention.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2005 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville with Rev. Rodney L. Craggs officiating.
