Sandra K. Hatchett 58 years of age passed away Friday, February 13, 2009 in Indianapolis, IN. She was born May 17, 1950 in Oliver Springs, TN to the late James Jones and the late Mary (Martin) Romans. Sandra married Bob Hatchett of Indianapolis, IN on September 4, 1991.
Sandra has lived in Indianapolis, IN for most of her life. She was a member of the Holy Name in Beech Grove, IN, Decatur Quilt Guild, and the American Sewing Guild. Sandra was a hairstylist for #7 Design Group in Indianapolis, IN for 3 years. Previously, she owned Salon of Styles in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years.
She is survived by her Husband, Bob Hatchett of Indianapolis, IN; 3 Children: James Vanover of Beech Grove, IN, Aleta Hatchett of Indianapolis, IN, and Roberta Hatchett of Indianapolis, IN; 6 Grandchildren; 1 Great Granddaughter; 1 Sister, Charolett Hood of Mooresville, IN; 1 Brother, Mike Jones of Indianapolis, IN; and several special aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Jones and Mary Romans and 1 Brother, Douglas Jones.
Calling hours for Sandra will be from 2-7pm, Sunday, February 15, 2009 and from 9-10am, Monday, February 16, 2009 all at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10am, Monday, February 16, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. George Watkins will officiate the service and Sandra will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery. Jones Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
