Obituary for Rosemary Pratt

Rosemary Pratt, 66, of Indianapolis, died at home on Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was born in Port Chester, NY on October 15, 1944 to John H. and Mary C. (Salerno) Warnig. She married Richard A. Pratt Sr. on January 30, 1977.

She has lived in Indianapolis since 1967 and previously in Port Chester, NY for 25 years. Rosemary was a Sales Rep for Gerdts Furniture in Southport for 8 years before retiring in 2009 and she was previously an Office Worker for Suburban Motor Freight for 17 years. She was also a Decorating Den Franchise Owner for eight years. She attended St. Ann's Catholic Church, loved sewing, decorating and cooking and was also a member of Teamsters Local 135.

She is survived by her husband; son, Mark (Nancy) Janus of Indianapolis; step son, Richard A. Pratt Jr. of Indianapolis; mother, Mary C. Warnig of New Jersey; 2 brothers: John Sr. and Larry Warnig of New Jersey; 2 sisters: Frances Malavenda of New York and Linda Willis of Mass.

Calling hours will be 4-8pm, Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, Friday, April 15, 2011 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Fr. Glenn O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Standup2cancer.org. Website and online condolences at www.jonesfamilymortuary.com.
