Obituary for Robert D. Baker

Robert D. Baker, 21, Plainfield, IN, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Robert was born on June 17, 1992 in Martinsville, IN to Rickie Baker Jr. and Wendy (Shaw) Baker.

Robert was a 2011 graduate of Mooresville High School. He lived in Plainfield since October of 2013 and previously lived in Mooresville for 10 years and Whiteland for 10 years. Robert was currently a New Car Salesman for Ray Skillman in Indianapolis. He loved BMX Racing and all cars especially Mustangs.

Robert is survived by his fiance, Lauren Barton of Plainfield; mother, Wendy Baker of Whiteland; father, Rickie (Vivian) Baker Jr. of Mooresville; brother, Nick Baker of Indianapolis; sister, Caitlyn Baker of Mooresville; grandparents: Linda (John) Stevens of Whiteland, Derek (Cynthia) Shaw of Illinois, Lilly (Gary) Henson of Florida and Rickie Baker Sr. of Martinsville and great grandmothers: Elva Baker and Mary Barrett.

Family and friends may gather 4-8pm, Friday, January 10, 2014 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville and from 10-11am, Saturday, January 11, 2014. There will be a Celebration of Life Service 11am, Saturday, January 11, 2014 also at Jones Crossing Banquet Center with Pastor Walter Fletcher officiating. Robert will be cremated following the service.
