Obituary for Phillip Darrell Cox Arant

Phillip Darrell Cox Arant, 47 of Plainfield, IN passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009. He was born November 9, 1961 in Brazil, IN to Wayne and Jean (Porter) Cox of Plainfield, IN. Phillip married Glenda J. (Moppin) Arant of Plainfield, IN on August 7, 1987.

Phillip has lived in Plainfield, IN for most of his life and in Mooresville, IN for 20 years. He was a Veteran for the U.S. Air Force and loved his dogs and guns.

Phillip is survived by his Wife, Glenda J. (Moppin) Arant; Parents: Wayne and Jean (Porter) Cox of Plainfield; 1 Son, Phillip "P.J." Arant of Evansville, IN; 1 Brother, Brad Cox of Danville, IN; 3 Sisters: Marcie Fielding of Kentucky, Christy Roberts of England, and Cindy Summit of Oolitic, IN; and several Nieces and Nephews; and several Aunts and Uncles.

Calling hours for Phillip will be from 6-8pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2009 and from 9-10am, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 all at Jones Family Mortuary. The Funeral Service will be at 10am, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. Mike Schmidt will officiate the service and Phillip will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery.
