Paul F. Spears, 77, of Camby, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2015. He was born to Wilson and Roxie (Thompson) Spears on April 23, 1938 in Tompkinsville, KY. He married Jean (Irvin) Spears on Sept. 28, 1968.

Paul was a carman for CSX for 38 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of Power of Prayer Community Church. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and vegetable gardening. He has lived in Camby for the past 40 years.

Paul is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jean Spears of Camby; five children, Paul Dewayne Spears of FL, Brian Spears of KY, Sherry Adams of KY, Christina Spears of Mooresville, Michael Spears of Camby; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Donnie, Willie, Melvin; six sisters, Stella, Faye, Barbara, Ruby, Joyce & Irene. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Roxie Spears; two sisters, Jean & Jewell; and one brother, Jimmy.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 and 9-10 a.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, 4165 E. Allison Road, Mooresville, IN 46158. Pastor Everett Barnard will officiate the 10 a.m. celebration of life service at on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Paul will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis.
