Obituary for Patricia A. Pollard

Patricia A. Pollard, 74, of Monrovia, IN, died on December 1, 2011. Patricia was born to Virgil A. Hunt & Helen (Connor) Hunt on March 9, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN. She graduated from Monrovia High School in 1954. She married Elmer L. Pollard on June 7, 1958.

Before retiring in 2002, Patricia was a Customer Service Rep. for Chase Bank in Plainfield, IN for 17 years. She was a member of Monrovia Christian Church. She was a 50 year member of the Martha Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star #217. She loved playing dominoes with lady friends and slot machines at the casino.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Elmer L. Pollard of Monrovia, IN; 2 children, Brian Alan Pollard of Monrovia, IN and Michael Lee (Lisa) Pollard of Greenwood, IN; Mother in Law, Nellie (Hall) Pollard; cousin, Fred (Sue) Hunt & several nieces and nephews.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil A. Hunt & Helen (Connor) Hunt and 2 brothers, George & Donald Hunt.

Calling hours will be from 4-8pm, Sunday, December 4, 2011 and 1-2pm, Monday, December 5, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Richard Dickison & Fred Hunt will officiate the 2pm funeral service on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Patricia will be laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, IN.
