Obituary for Patricia H. Leggitt

Patricia H. Leggitt, 70 years of age passed away Monday, February 22, 2010. She was born July 30, 1939 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Richard Lundy and the late Louise (Johnson) Norman. She married the late Daniel Leggitt on January 26, 1956.

Patricia has lived in Indianapolis, IN for all of her life. She was a Long-time member of the Pleasant Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed her grandchildren, camping, and playing cards. Before retiring in 1995, she worked for Merchants Property Insurance Company. Previously, she worked for Merchants Bank.

Patricia is survived by 3 Children: Terry D. Ramsey of Indianapolis, IN, Stephen D. Leggitt of Indianapolis, IN, and Kelly L. Ramsey of Camby, IN; 5 Grandchildren: Stephen P.D. Leggitt, Heather M. Foubert, Patrick D. Leggitt, Cory A. and Patricia E. Ramsey; 2 Great Grandchildren, Marissa N. and Ryleigh C. Leggitt; 3 Sisters; 1 Brother. She is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers.

There will be calling hours for Patricia from 4-8pm, Thursday, February 25, 2009 and from 9-10am, Friday, February 26, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10am, Friday, February 26, 2010. David H. Richards Sr. DD will officiate the service and Patricia will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
