Obituary for Michael Orlando Dee
Michael Orlando Dee, 69, of Camby, IN passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home . He was born July 21, 1947 in Oblong, IL to the late James L. and Betty I. (Rogers) Dee. Michael married Pamela J. (Curtis) Dee on September 9, 1967.
Michael was a 1965 graduate of Ben Davis High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Italy. He was a member of Mooresville American Legion Post #103. He was a manager for Deluxe Check Printers in Indianapolis for 23 years. He was a true sports fanatic, an avid baseball fan, player and coach and his favorite team was the New York Yankees. He was the jokester of the family. Although he was outnumbered by all the women in his family; he loved his girls, granddaughters and great-granddaughter with all of his heart.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Pamela J. (Curtis) Dee of Camby; two daughters, Jennifer (Scott) Ricketts of Mooresville and Michelle (Scott) Brumley of Mooresville; four granddaughters, Kristina, Taylor, Danyel and Ashlyn; and a great-granddaughter, Ily.
Family and friends may gather from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2016 with Pastor Rob Mehner officiating the jovial service to celebrate Michael's life at 2:30 p.m. in Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
