Obituary for Maurice E. Brown

Maurice E. "Mo" Brown, 63, of Indianapolis, IN, died on November 20, 2011 in Methodist Hospital. He was born on March 8, 1948 in Greencastle, IN to Allan Russell and Margaret J. (Hapner) Brown. He married Nola (Ratliff) Brown on April 20, 1975.

Maurice was a customer service agent for Fedex Express for 13 years before retiring in 2010. Previously he worked for ITW as an Industrial Electrician in Indianapolis for 20 years. He was a member of Monrovia Christian Church, Monrovia Masonic Lodge # 654 and the Scottish Rite Indianapolis Valley. He was a 1966 graduate of Monrovia High School.

He is survived by his wife and mother; 2 children: Sara (Nick) Brunnschweiler of Michigan and Patrick E. Brown of Indianapolis; 2 brothers: Pete and David Brown both of Mooresville.

Visitation will be 3-8pm, Friday, November 25, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Bill Bailey will officiate the 10:30am funeral service on Saturday, November 26, 2011 also at Jones Family Mortuary.
