Obituary for Maude A. Thompson

Maude A. Thompson, 101, passed away on June 8, 2011 at Woodbridge Assisted Living in Logansport, IN. She was born on October 31, 2009 in Cass County, IN to the late Albert & Effa (Brown) Elliott. She married the late Irvin Thompson on March 30, 1929.

Maude retired as a Secretary at Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis, IN. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed cross word puzzles and needle point stitching. Maude graduated from Lucerne High School in Cass County, IN and attended Madame Blakers Teachers College in Indianapolis, IN.

Maude was the mother of Kenneth (Henrietta) Thompson of Kansas and the late David Thompson of Florida. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Lester Elliott of Lucerne, IN and George Elliott of Paoli, IN; sister, Helen Mae Lucas of Colorado Springs, CO and several nieces and nephews. She also is preceded in death by 4 brothers, Forest, Paul, Harold and Donald Elliott.

All services will be private with burial at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
