Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Curts

Mary Elizabeth Curts 89 years of age, passed away Monday, March 9, 2009. She was born July 17, 1919 in Deleware County, IN to the late Harry and Dorothy (Bales) Vincent. She married the late Lewis E. Curts on September 2, 1938.

Mary has lived in Mooresville, IN for 3 years and she lived in Muncie and Selma, IN for most of her life. She was a 1937 Albany High School Graduate and was a Lifelong member of the Albany Bethel United Methodist Church in Albany, IN. Mary enjoyed gardening. Before retiring in 1978, she was a Financial Secretary for Southside High School in Muncie, IN for 13 years. She was also a Homemaker.

Mary is survived by 2 Daughters, Rosalie Joan (Robert H.) Rehme of Jacksonville, FL and Beverly Christine (Charles B.) Jackson of Mooresville, IN; 3 Grandchildren: Elizabeth A. (Alex) Szabo, Scott A. (Roberta) Rehme, and Vivian A. (Rick) Baker; 4 Great Grandchildren: Jennifer and Jonathan Rehme, Deanna Szabo and Caitlyn Christine Baker; 2 Step Great Grandchildren, Robert and Nick Baker; and 1 Brother, Bill (Orpha) Vincent.

Calling hours for Mary will be private. There will be a Graveside Service at 12:30pm, Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Black Cemetery in Albany, IN. Bill Gott will officiate the service. Jones Family Mortuary handled the arrangements.
