Obituary for Marty Hugh Larch

Martin Hugh Larch, 66, of Indianapolis, ended his battle with depression on June 18, 2016. Marty was born to William "Bill" and Evelyn (Larrabee) Larch on November 29, 1949 in Williamsport, IN. He graduated from Madison Heights High School in Anderson in 1968 and earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Ball State University. He married Janet (Boling) Larch on June 29, 1986.

Marty was a self-employed Tax Accountant and an enrolled agent with the IRS for Business Accounting & Larch Tax Services, Inc. He was a member of Camby Community Church. He was a member of the Decatur Civic Council, where he held several service positions. He was a former member of West Newton United Methodist Church, where he served as Treasurer for several years. Marty kept his family farm in Ambia, IN which has been in his family since 1863 and continued to farm in retirement for enjoyment.

Marty is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Janet (Boling) Larch of Indianapolis; three sons, Jayson (Sarah) Franklin of Oak Park, IL, Ian (Elizabeth) Larch of Brooklyn, IN and Brett R. Larch of Muncie, IN; seven grandchildren: Evelyn, Ruby, Ambrose, Fern, Ignatius, Bella and Nova; a brother, Darrell Larch of Anderson, IN; and a sister, Bonita Larch of Brookston, IN. Marty is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Riley Larch.

Family and friends may gather from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville and 9-10 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Camby Community Church, 8604 Camby Rd., Camby. Pastor Charles Paxton will officiate Marty's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Camby Community Church. Marty will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery, Indianapolis.
