Obituary for Margaret Bernice Overholtz (Cox)

Margaret Bernice (Cox) Overholtz, 94, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2016 with family by her side. Margaret was born to Hurshel and Mamie Bell (Black) Cox on November 15, 1921 in Darlington. Margaret married Harry C. Overholtz on July 21, 1941.

Margaret was a hostess for Adams Mark in Indianapolis for 10 years. She was a member of West Newton United Methodist Church. She lived in Indianapolis for most of her life.

Margaret is survived by two sons, Harry (Linda) Overholtz of Camby, Terry (Nancy) Overholtz of Plainfield; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry C. Overholtz; stepdaughter, Anna Yearack; and 11 siblings.

Pastor Don Zlaty will officiate Margaret's celebration of life graveside service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington.
