Obituary for Lucian Barney Rhodes Jr.

Lucian Barney Rhodes Jr., 82, of Camby, IN, died, Sunday, September 14, 2008 at his home. He was born on May 7, 1926 in Drakesboro, KY to the late Lucian Barney Rhodes Sr. and Lena (Ferrell) Dearing. He married Mary A. (Rosemeyer) Rhodes on December 17, 1948 and she survives. Before retiring in 1988, he was a diesel truck mechanic for Sheets Trucking for 10 years.

He is survived by a wife, Mary A. Rhodes of Camby, IN; 3 Children, Sandy (Don) Stanutz of Houston, Texas, Jim (Sue) Rhodes of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ed (Lisa) Rhodes of Mooresville, IN; 6 Grandchildren; 1 Great Grandson and 1 Sister, Willi Downey of Indianapolis, IN.

Calling will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 and from 1-2pm, Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 2pm, Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery.
