Obituary for Louise Rhoton

"Louise" Rhoton, 88, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2015. Louise was born to Thurman and Essie (Deckard) Bean on Oct. 1, 1926 in Tompkinsville, KY. Louise married Glen M. Rhoton on Dec. 27, 1944.

Louise was an Attendant for Pink Front Laundry for 25 years. She was a member of Mooresville Church of Christ and Madison Township Fire Department Ladies Auxillary. She has lived in Greenwood the past three years, Mooresville for 67 years and her birthplace of Tompkinsville, KY for 18 years.

Louise is survived by a daughter, Glenda Darene Gearlds of Franklin; a granddaughter, Andria (Bill) Scales of Greenwood; two great granddaughters, Melanie Peacock of Greenwood and Samantha Scales of New Whiteland and a sister, Jessie Southern of TX. Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Thurman and Essie Bean; spouse, Glen Rhoton; a brother, Elmer Glen Bean and a sister, Anita Anderson.

Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 15, 2015 and 11:30-12:30 p.m. at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Charles Paxton will officiate a 12:30 p.m. celebration of life service on Fri., Jan. 16, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary. Louise will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
