Obituary for Larry R. Terry

Larry R. Terry, 63 years of age passed away Friday, September 18, 2009. He was born August 14, 1946 in Beech Grove, IN to the late Wallace and Minnie Marie (Spaulding) Terry. Larry married Pam (Sanders) Terry of Mooresville, IN on June 10, 1988.

Larry lived in Mooresville, IN for most of his life. He was an Army Veteran and was a Purple Heart recipient. Larry was a member of the Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville, IN; Life Time member of the Mooresville VFW Post #1111; Flag Town Tin Car Club; and the Avid Street Rod Enthusiast. He was a carman for Conrail Railroad in Avon, IN for 26 years before retiring in 1984.

Larry is survived by his Wife, Pam Terry of Mooresville, IN; 5 Children: Larry Terry of Indianapolis, IN, Dean Terry of Mooresville, IN, Stacey Terry of Greenbay, WI, Shelly Furuness of Brownsburg, IN, and Scott Terry of Mooresville, IN; 2 Step Children, Tammie Wilson of Mooresville, IN and Mike Teague of Tell City, IN; and 1 Sister, Donna Brashears of Indianapolis, IN. He is also preceded in death by 1 Step Daughter, Angela Teague.

Calling hours for Larry will be from 4-8pm, Monday, September 21, 2009 and 1 hour prior to the service at Jones Crossing Banquet and Event Center. The Service will be at 10am, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Jeff Faull will officiate the service and Larry will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Riley Hospital for Children.
