Larry Gene Hire, 61, of Mooresville, passed away Wednesday, May 27th, 2020. He was born February 18th, 1959 in Indianapolis, to his parents Bobby R. and Wanda L. (Wheeler) Hire. He lived most of his life on the west side of Indianapolis and most recently resided in Mooresville.

Larry is survived by his three sons: Kyle Hire of Indianapolis, Branden Hire of Franklin, and Joshua Hire of Richmond; his father, Bobby R. Hire and step mother, Brenda Hire; one grandson, Kingston Gareth Hire; and one sister, Lori Edwards. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda L. (Wheeler) Hire.

Larry was a graduate of Decatur Central High School. He was a truck driver for most of his life for Towne Freight and Maple Hurst. He attended Harvest House Church in Mooresville. He was a sports enthusiast, especially football. Larry loved Indianapolis racing and enjoyed listening to music.

There will be a private gathering at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
