Obituary for Lanny D. Selke

Lanny D. Selke, 62, of Camby, IN, died on February 18, 2012. Lanny was born to Leroy & Marjorie (Boyer) Selke on February 11, 1950 in Indianapolis, IN. Lanny graduated from Mooresville High School in 1968. Lanny was a Army Vietnam War Veteran. Lanny married Naomia (Brandenburg) Selke on October 25, 1975.

From 1981-2001, Lanny was a self employed Floor Covering Contractor. Lanny was a member of Mooresville United Methodist Church and Plainfield Fraternal Order of Eagles. Lanny also loved golf, fishing and anything outdoors. He lived in Mooresville, IN most of his life and 2 years in his birthplace of Indianapolis, IN.

Lanny is survived by his wife, Naomia (Brandenburg) Selke of Camby, IN; 2 sons, William "Billy" Selke & Scott Selke; grandson, Devin Selke; mother, Marjorie (Boyer) Selke of Indianapolis, IN; 3 brothers, Leroy (Mary) Selke of Rockville, IN, Denis (Denise) Selke of SC & Gary Selke of Indianapolis, IN; 2 sisters, Carroll Johnson of Mooresville, IN & LaDonna (Sam) Collett of Plainfield, IN. Lanny is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Selke and a brother, Guy David Selke.

Calling for Lanny will be from 4-8pm, Tuesday, February 21, 2012 and 9-10am, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Chris Bain & Chris Page will officiate the 10am funeral service for Lanny on Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Lanny will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville, IN.
