Obituary for Kenneth Lee Moore

Kenneth Lee Moore, 82, of Mooresville, IN, died on April 18, 2011. He was born to William Lee & Pearl May (Roby) Moore in Keyser, WV on October 19, 1928. He married Norma Jane (Metheny) Moore on November 29, 1957.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He retired from Oliver Trucking in 1995, but was a Truck Driver for 40 years for several companies. He was a member of the American Legion and Teamsters Local 135. He grew up in Cumberland, MD, but was an over the road resident of Mooresville, IN since 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jane (Metheny) Moore; 3 children, Bill Moore, Kenny (Karen) Moore & David Moore, all of Mooresville, IN; 5 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Carol Hedrick of WV.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, William Lee & Pearl May (Roby) Moore, 1 granddaughter, 2 brothers & 3 sisters.

Calling will be from 4-8pm, Wednesday, April 20, 2011 and 9-10am, Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Don Endsley will officiate the 10am funeral service on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Kenneth will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery.
