Obituary for Judi A. Burch

Judi A. Burch, 70, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 11, 2014. Judi was born to Albert Lee Bealmear and Wanda Lou (Dickey) Maurer on April 6, 1944 in Terre Haute. Judi was a 1962 Gerstmeyer High School Graduate. Judi married Bob Burch on March 8, 1969.

Judi was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church. She enjoyed knitting, arts and crafts. She has lived in Indianapolis most of her life and her birthplace of Terre Haute for 18 years.

Judi is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bob Burch of Indianapolis; two sons, Robert (Jasmin) Burch Jr. of Brownsburg and David (Jennifer) Burch of Greenwood; seven grandchildren, Avery, Baili, Taylor, Carson, Ryan, Jama and Kyle; three great grandchildren, Parker, Joey and Ellison; four brothers, Tony, Sam, Jerry and Larry Maurer; two sisters, Susan and Linda Maurer. Judi is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Lee Bealmear and Wanda Lou (Dickey) Maurer and two brothers, Michael and Stephen Bealmear.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 3-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014 and 2-3 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Father Glenn O'Connor will officiate the 3 p.m. celebration of life service on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Judi will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
