Obituary for Juanita P. (Buttler) Moody (Gray)
Juanita P. (Buttler) Moody, 87, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully with family by her side on June 28, 2016. Juanita was born to Orace M. and Josephine (Adams) Gray on July 22, 1928 in Bald Knob, AR.
Juanita was a factory worker for RCA in Indianapolis for 23 years, retiring in 1988. In her early years, she worked the cotton fields in Arkansas. She lived in Mooresville since 2004, Stilesville for 43 years and 20 years in her birthplace of Bald Knob, AR.
Juanita is survived by four children: Danny (Sheila) Buttler of Mooresville, Rick (Shirley) Buttler of Indianapolis, Debbie (Mike) West of Martinsville and Dwayne (Jeanette) Buttler of Memphis, IN; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; a brother, Tommy Gray; and two sisters, Laverne (Ed) Douell and Peggy Gray. She is preceded in death by her parents; previous husbands, Mack Buttler and David Moody; two sons, Jimmy and Larry Buttler; three sisters, Ruby, Janita and Betty; and three brothers, O.D., J.L. and Jerry.
Pastor Billy Gott will officiate Juanita's celebration of life service on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. with calling hours starting at 11 a.m. in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Juanita will be laid to rest in Stilesville Cemetery.
