Obituary for Juanita F. Allender

Juanita F. "Tom" Allender, 89, of Camby, IN died on July 1, 2011 at Plainfield Health Care Center. She was born in Terre Haute, IN on December 1, 1921 to Sam and Pansy Lawrine (Cooper) Henderson. She married Floyd "Dutch" Allender on December 24, 1938.

After living just a short time in Terre Haute and Nashville, IN she lived most of her life in the Camby area. She was a homemaker. She was a Song Leader at West Newton Worship and Youth Center where she was also a member.

She is survived by 5 daughters: Mildred (Billy) Burnside of Columbus, IN, Loretta Bolin of Monrovia, IN, Barbara (Lenard) Scott of Mooresville, IN, Janet (Tony) Cannon of Indianapolis, IN, Rhonda (Rodney) Halligan of Edinburg, IN; 1 son, Jack (Betty) Allender of Camby, IN; daughter in law, Vivian Allender; 11 grandchildren and several great and great, great grandchildren. She is preceded by 1 son, Floyd "Dutchie" Allender Jr, 1 brother, 3 sisters and 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will start at 2pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at West Newton Worship and Youth Center and also from 10am until the 2pm service time on Wednesday, Juy 6, 2011 also at West newton Worship and Youth Center. Funeral sevices will be at 2pm, Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at West Newton Worship and Youth Center with Tony Cannon officiating. Juanita will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
