Obituary for John E. Stackman

John E. Stackman, 86, of Indianapolis, IN died March 20, 2005. He was born January 30, 1919 to the late Clarence and Bessie (Cook) Stackman. He married the late Jean Stackman November 12, 1943. He was an Army S/SGT veteran, having served during World War II and discharged in 1945. Before retiring in 1995, he was Co-Owner of Stackman Signs in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years.

He is survived by 3 Children: Pamela Hoop of Danville, IN; John "Jack" Stackman Jr. of Plainfield,IN; Jim Stackman of Danville, IN; 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers: Virgil Stackman of Jasper, IN; Robert Stackman of PA. He was preceded in death by 3 Brothers.

Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary. Funeral Services will be at 10am Thursday, March 24, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary and will be officiated by Charles Paxton. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
