Obituary for John A. Sheridan

John A. Sheridan, 76, of Mooresville died in St. Francis Hospital on May 7, 2011. He was born on November 26, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Casby and Lucille (Roberts) Sheridan. He married Christine (Estes) Sheridan on December 27, 1953.

John was an Engineer for Stewart-Warner Corp. in Indianapolis for 20 years before retiring in 1999. He previously worked for Schwitzer Corp. for 15 years also in Indianapolis. He loved fishing, gardening, working on his computer and studying geneology.

He is survived by his wife; 3 children: Christy (Alan) Probst of Illinois, Doug Sheridan of Mooresville and Tim (Carol) Sheridan of Zionsville; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He is preceded by 2 sisters: Judy and Ruth.

Visitation will be 3-8pm, Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary and also 1 hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be at 11am, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 also at Jones Family Mortuary. John will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery.
