Obituary for Joan Eaton

Joan Eaton, 70 years of age passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 in Martinsville, IN. She was born January 22, 1938 in Greencastle, IN to the late Glenn Shinn and the late Goldie Irene (Miller) Shinn.

Joan has lived in Mooresville, IN for most of her life and in Rexville, IN for 15 years. She was a member of the Mooresville American Legion #103, and Mooresville Eagles. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and babysitting with one of many great grandchildren being Karter Simmons. Joan was a homemaker and also a flower designer in Rexville, IN for 15 years.

She was survived by 5 Children: Steve (Jackie) Miles of Martinsville, IN, Paula Uberto of Indianapolis, IN; Patty (John) Boner of Mooresville, IN; Charles Jr. (Mary) Eaton of Monrovia, IN; and Mark Eaton of Sebring, FL; 16 Grandchildren; 14 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great, Great Grandson; and 1 Sister, Patricia of Roachdale, IN. She is also preceded in death by 1 Brother, John Shinn.

There will be a Memorial Service for Joan at 2pm, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Mooresville American Legion. There will also be a Private Graveside Service at 11am, Friday, May 16, 2008 at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville, IN.
