Obituary for Jean Lavonne Stackman

Jean Lavonne Stackman,82, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, Febraury 23, 2005. She was born April 3, 1922 in Ft. Wayne to the late Charles and Lucille Bratton. She married John E. Stackman in November of 1943. Jean was a 1940 graduate of Ft. Wayne High School. She was a homemaker and Co-Owner of Stackman Signs in Indianapolis for 40 years, retiring in 1995.

She is survived by Husband: John E Stackman of Indianapolis;Three children: Pamela Hoop of Danville; John "Jack" Stackman Jr. of Plainfield; Jim Stackman of Danville; Five grandchildren; Seven great-grandchildren; Brother: Keith Bratton.

Charles Paxton will officiate funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2005 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Calling is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2005 and from 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Burial will take place in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
