Obituary for James H. Joseph

James H. Joseph, 68, of Camby, IN, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2013. James was born to Andy and America (Baker) Joseph on March 23, 1945 in Hyden, KY. James married Lucy (Hendren) Joseph on April 13, 1963 and they have three children, Judy Jones, Wanda Terrell and Gary Joseph.

James was a Carpenter of Local 60 in Indianapolis, IN for 20 years, retiring in 2005. He also owned Joseph's Tree Service in Camby, IN for 37 years. His son, Gary, now operates the business. He loved horseshoes, fishing and hunting. He has lived in Camby, IN since 1976, Indianapolis and Zionsville for three years each and his birthplace of Hyden, KY for 21 years.

James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lucy (Hendren) Joseph of Camby, IN; three children, Judy (Dave) Jones of Camby, IN, Wanda (Jeff) Terrell of Mooresville, IN & Gary Joseph of Mooresville, IN; six grandchildren, Chris & Victoria Jones, Danielle & Morgan Terrell and Emily & Caitlin Joseph; one great granddaughter, Brayleigh Jones and one sister, Linda Carol (Roy) Pennington. James is preceded in death by his parents, Andy and America (Baker) Joseph and a sister, Janice Joseph.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 4-8 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2013 and 9-10 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Paul Dyke will officiate the 10 a.m. Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary. James will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery.
