Obituary for James M. Hillman

James M. "JimBob" Hillman, 64, of Quincy passed away Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital, Mooresville. He was born March 13th, 1951 in Indianapolis.

JimBob was a current resident of Quincy since 1993. He also lived in Camby for 30 years and Monrovia for 12 years. He was an Inside Truck Driver for Allison Transmission Plant for 30 years before retiring in 2003. He was a member of UAW Local 933, enjoyed fishing and playing cards. JimBob was an Army Vietnam War Veteran.

JimBob is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Cochran) Hillman of Quincy, whom he married on March 14, 1975; mother, Glenna (Atwell) Owings of Franklin; 2 sisters: Victoria (David) Pritchard of Franklin and Rebecca Wilhite of Franklin. He is also preceded by his father, James M. Hillman and son Brenton Hillman.,

Family and friends may gather 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. John Shoffner will officiate the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 19th, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary. James will be laid to rest in Shumaker Cemetery, Quincy.
