Obituary for Imojean Ingle (Marlowe)

Imojean (Marlowe) Ingle, 68, of Camby, went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2016. She was born to Eddie H. and Beatrice P. (Lane) Marlowe on September 24, 1948 in Moreland, KY. She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1968. She married Joseph S. Ingle Sr. on November 11, 1967.

Imojean worked as a Caregiver for Damar Homes for eight years, Learn-A-Lot Christian Preschool for eight years and also worked as a Supervisor for Automotive Armature for 20 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, cooking, cake baking and decorating. She lived in the Indianapolis and Camby area for most of her life.

Imojean is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joseph Ingle Sr. of Camby; two children, Joseph (Rachel) Ingle Jr. of Indianapolis; Cynthia Ingle of Camby; four grandchildren, Craig and Alexander McKinney, Kacey and Joseph Ingle; a brother, Steve Marlowe; and a sister, Loretta Marshall. Imojean is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Joseph, Eddie, Michael and Douglas Marlowe; and a sister, Peggy Toomey.

Family and friends may gather from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 in Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville and 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1150 State Rd. 144, Mooresville, IN 46158. Pastor Everett Barnard will officiate Imojean's celebration of life service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Imojean will be laid to rest in Birdseye Cemetery.
