The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Howard Pritchard can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

First Person I Met

Howard was the very first person I met when we moved to Mooresville in November 1966.  We went to the First Christian Church and he was there in the vestibule.  We couldn't get into the sanctuary because the service wasn't finished so he talked with us while we waited.  Howard loved to try to push me off I70 when we went to work in the morning and on the way home.  Seems like we were on the interstate at the same time.  He told me I drove too fast.  We were in a Euchre Club with he and Iris and had a wonderful time.  He was a serious card player.  Yes, he did love cars.  I saw him driving through Stoops parking lot one day when I was over there servicing the car.  He was a good Christian person and loved his children and grandchildren.  He will be missed.  He was Mooresville.
