Obituary for Herbert Randall Roberts
Herbert Randall Roberts, 78 years of age passed away Saturday, March 21,2009. He was born February 23, 1931 in Russell County, KY to the late Oren Herbert and Myrtle Mae (Helton) Roberts. Herbert was in a previous marriage for 35 years to the late Dorothy Roberts. He was currently married to Helen (Faulk) Roberts of Mooresville,IN.
Herbert has lived in Camby, IN (Madison Township) for 45 years and in Russell County, KY for 24 years. He was a CPL (T) 160ct54 Army Veteran in the Korean War. Before retiring in 1993, he was a Machine Set-up for Link Belt in Indianapolis, IN for 35 years.
Herbert is survived by his Wife, Helen (Faulk) Roberts of Mooresville, IN; 1 Daughter, Dorothy Carolyn Sauter of FL; 1 Son, Dennis Roberts of Camby, IN; 4 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Calling hours for Herbert will be from 5-7pm, Monday, March 23, 2009 and from 9-10am, Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10am, Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. Terry Crist will officiate the service and Herbert will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. Jones Family Mortuary handled the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please send Memorial Contributions to the Salvation Army.
