Obituary for Hazel L. Dawson Casselman Adams

Hazel L. Dawson Casselman Adams, 102, of Camby, IN, died on February 12, 2011. She was born on November 29, 1908 in Claypool, IN to George O. Dawson & Maude (Warfel) Dawson.

She was a 1926 Leesburg High School Graduate. She was a Homemaker. She lived in Niles, MI for 65 years and Indianapolis, IN for 10 years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Niles, MI. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Navy Mother's Club in Niles, MI. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, sewing, ceramics and baking pies and cookies.

She is survived by her Son: Bob (Judi) Casselman of Camby, IN; 3 Grandchildren, Cheryl Casselman, Todd (Ruthanne) Casselman and Jennifer (Matt) Smith and 5 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George & Maude (Warfel) Dawson; husband, Edgar Adams; previous spouse, George Casselman; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Calling will be from 5-8pm, Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a 3pm funeral service on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel in Niles,MI with an hour of calling prior to the service. Rev. Edward H. Slate will officiate the service. Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles, MI.
