Obituary for Harold W. Dettman

Harold W. Dettman, 86, of Camby, IN died on Monday, March 19, 2012 in his home. He was born in Frankfort, IN on December 11, 1925 to the late Edward Charles and Georgia (Windsor) Dettman. He married Jinnie (Hornsby) Dettman on September 30, 1989. He was previously married to Elva O. Dettman.

Harold lived in Frankfort for 4 years, Camby for 2 years and in Logansport for most of his life. He was a US Navy WWII Vet. He was a machine operator foreman for Chrysler Casting in Kokomo for 28 years before retiring in 1987. He was an UAW Member, loved gardening and working outside and also loved caring for his cats.

Harold is survived by his wife; 3 daughters: Margo Pittman of Logansport, IN, Rebecca Marie Dettman of AZ and Tina Gasp of Logansport, IN; 5 grandchildren.

Harold's wishes were to be cremated and services to be private.
