Obituary for Glenna Dawn Brooks

Glenna Dawn Brooks, 76, of Mooresville, IN, died on January 30, 2012. Glenna was born to Rev. William Thomas & Helen L. (Patterson) Spoonamore on July 1, 1935 in Laurel, IN. Glenna married Charles L. Brooks on June 6, 1963.

Glenna has lived in Mooresville, IN for the past 22 years, Franklin, IN for 20 years and her birthplace of Laurel, IN for 8 years. Glenna was a Homemaker. She loved home improvement on her home and enjoyed working with leather and scrapbooking.

Glenna is survived by her husband, Charles L. Brooks of Mooresville, IN; 4 children, Sherry (Ryle) Perry of Camby, IN, Stan Brooks of Mooresville, IN, Randy Brooks of OH and Charles W. Brooks of Mooresville, IN; 2 grandchildren, Michelle Perry & Hillary (Daniel) Rhoton; 2 great grandchildren Noah & Jonah Rhoton; 2 brothers, Thomas N. Spoonamore & Philip D. Spoonamore.

Glenna is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. William Thomas & Helen L. (Patterson) Spoonamore and a sister, Chloe Ann Spoonamore.

Calling will be from 3-6pm, Thursday, February 2, 2012 and 9-10am, Friday, February 3, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Charles Paxton will officiate the 10am funeral service on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Jones Family Mortuary. Glenna will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery.
