Obituary for Geneva F. Whitaker

Geneva F. Whitaker, 82 years of age, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010. She was born October 31, 1928 in Brooklyn, IN to the late Charles Edward McClusky and Ines Murle (Sparks) McClusky. She married the late John Edward Whitaker on May 19, 1945.

Geneva was a life long resident of Brooklyn, IN. She was a member of the Calvary Bible Wesleyan Church in Plainfield, IN. She loved needle work, working puzzles, and painting figurines. Geneva was a Homemaker.

She is survived by 5 Children: John Edward Whitaker Jr., Howard Eugene Whitaker, Brenda Sue Enlow, Linda Lou Reed, and Murle Jean Tumey; 9 Grandchildren: John Alan Whitaker, Barry Dean Whitaker, Rachel Ann Minor, Christina Lynn Rameraz, Marisa Mae Whitaker, Brittany Leigh Whitaker, Richard Bruce Enlow Jr., Dennis Robert Smith, and Brad Lee Smith; and 21 Great Grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by Parents, Charles Edward McClusky and Ines Murle (Sparks) McClusky; Husband, John Edward Whitaker; 3 Brothers: Morris, Marvin, and Kenneth McClusky; 3 Sisters: Cora McClusky, Mary Kelly, and Doris Brooks; and Great Grandson, Keith Carl Caban.

There will be calling hours for Geneva from 4-8pm, Friday, December 10, 2010 and also from 12noon-1pm, Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. The Funeral will be at 1pm, Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. Marcus Dodrill and John and Barry Whitaker will officiate the service. Geneva will be laid to rest at Brooklyn Cemetery in Brooklyn, IN.
