Obituary for Ezra Roscoe Miller

Ezra Roscoe Miller, 91, of Clearwater, FL, passed away peacefully on Jan. 20, 2014. Ezra was born to William Silas & Bertha (Thomas) Miller on Jan. 3, 1923 in Liberty, KY. Ezra was currently married to Mae Miller.

Ezra worked in the Maintenance Department for Bridgeport Brass in Indianapolis for 39 years, retiring in 1983. He was Past Master of West Newton Masonic Lodge #707. He was also a member of the Nazarene Church in Clearwater, FL.

Ezra is survived by his wife, Mae Miller of Clearwater, FL; two children, Jacquelyn (Jeff) Curtis of Mooresville and Philip (Rita) Miller of Avon; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Hollis Miller of Plainfield and several nieces and nephews. Ezra is preceded in death by his parents, William Silas & Bertha Miller and previous wives, Verl (Minton) Miller and Betty (Hedge) Miller.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 12-1 p.m., Tues., Jan. 28, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. There will be a 1 p.m. celebration of life service on Tues., Jan. 28, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary. Ezra will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville.
