Obituary for Emma Jean Schooley

Emma "Jean" Schooley, 85, of Mooresville, IN, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2013. Emma "Jean" was born to the late Kenneth Wilson and Lillian (Osborne) Mollenkamp on February 7, 1928 in Muncie, IN. Since Emma "Jean" was two, she was raised by her late grandparents, John & Maggie Wilson. Jean graduated from Royerton High School in 1947. Jean married James H. Schooley on June 7, 1947.

Jean worked as a Department Store Clerk for William H. Block for 17 years, retiring in 1977. She loved yard work, garage sales and auctions. She has lived in Mooresville, IN since 2010, Indianapolis, IN for 33 years and her birthplace of Muncie, IN for 19 years.

Jean is survived by her husband of 66 years, James Schooley of Mooresville, IN; two daughters, Kathy Schooley of Camby, IN and Nancy (Fred) Sylvester of FL; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and brother, Roy Stafford. Emma is preceded by her 2 brothers.

Friends may call from 2-4pm, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary.
