Edward Lee "Pete" Green Sr. 52 years of age passed away Sunday April 5, 2009. He was born February 19, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Woodrow Howard Green and surviving Mother, Ruth A. Green of Indianapolis, IN. He married Carol Ann (Harvey) Green of Indianapolis, IN on October 13, 1987.
Edward has been a lifetime resident of Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of the Community Caring and Sharing Worship Center. He also loved to hunt and fish and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a former Member and Union Steward of Teamsters in Indianapolis, IN Union #716. He was a Truck Driver for A & C Truck Transport in Indianapolis, IN for 4 years. He also drove a Semi Truck for various Companies for over 20 years.
Edward is survived by his Wife, Carol Ann (Harvey) Green of Indianapolis, IN; Children: Elvis, Edward, Michelle, Cassandra, and Josh Green of Indianapolis, IN, John Harris of Indianapolis, IN, Jennifer Baugh of Indianapolis, IN, and Shawn Brown of Indianapolis, IN; Mother, Ruth A. (Smith) Green of Indianapolis, IN; 19 Grandchildren; 1 Brother, Michael E. Green of Indianapolis, IN; 4 Sisters: Brenda, Patricia, Linda, and Barbara Green; and Step Sister, Jeanie Ann Board. He is also preceded in death by First Wife, Evelyn Marie (Lowe) Green; 2 Daughters, Elaine Green and Larissa Gray; 2 Brothers, Clarence and Charles Green; and 1 Sister, Helen Green.
Calling hours for Edward will be from 6-7pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center (Next to Jones Family Mortuary). The Memorial Service will be at 7pm, Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center in Mooresville, IN.
