Obituary for Dovie D. Willis

Dovie D. Willis, 94, of Camby, IN died on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. She was born on June 12, 1916 in Pennington Gap, VA to Marion F. Gilbert & Lizzie (Fleenor) Huff. She married Claude E. Willis on August 3, 1935.

She was a Homemaker. She loved quilting and spending time with family.

She is survived by 4 Children, Claude E. (Jan) Willis of Trafalgar, IN, Geneva (Ralph) Armstrong of Indianapolis, IN, Ruth (Phil) Craft-Poe of Camby, IN & Wilma "Susie" (Mike) Wilson of Mooresville, IN; 9 Grandchildren & 15 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion F. Gilbert & Lizzie (Fleenor) Huff; Husband, Claude E. Willis & a Step Sister, Leona White.

Calling hours will be from 4-8pm, Friday, March 4, 2011 and 9-10am, Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. Michael Wilson will officiate the 10am funeral service on Saturday, March 5, 2011. Burial will be in Nebo Memorial Park.
